About the tour

This tour takes you on a journey into the piece and quiet of the arctic landscape. During this tour you’ll experience the summer nature in Swedish Lapland. The tour goes close to the Kalix River, one of Sweden’s last protected rivers that has no power plants. This activity is perfect for the whole family.

We start by preparing the horse for a ride with the carriage. The horse is of the breed north Swedish draft horse, an old Swedish country breed and we are happy to tell more about the breed’s origin and history for the curious. Then we go on a tour through the village, close by the Kalix river which offer magical views of the forrest and peacefullness. When we return to the farm, we end with “Swedish fika” (coffee/ tea/juice and snacks) in our outdoor barbeque hut or outdoor if the weathers is nice.

The total time for the experience is about 2 – 3 hours.
