Horse carriage ride during the midnight sun

About the tour

Endless nights and only you decides when the day ends. During our summers the sun never sets and it’s magical to be out in the midnight sun light. The evenings invites to a calming down atmosphere and just enjoying the sound of silence.

We start by preparing the horse for a ride with the sleigh. The horse is of the breed north Swedish draft horse, an old Swedish country breed and we are happy to tell more about the breed’s origin and history for the curious. Then we go on a tour through the village, close by the Kalix river which offer magical views of the forrest and peace-fullness. When we return to the farm, we end with “Swedish fika” (coffee/ tea /juice and snacks) in our outdoor barbeque hut.

The total time for the experience is about 2 – 3 hours.

Meeting point: At Cederings Horses in the village Kalix Älv on agreed time.
