Horse sleigh ride in the Arctic winter landscape

About the tour

We offer you a beautiful horse sleigh ride at the winteroads in our homevillage Kalixälv (Kalix river).

A sleigh ride with horse gives you at moment of peace and quiet close to nature.

We start by preparing the horse for a ride with the sleigh. The horse is of the breed north Swedish draft horse, an old Swedish country breed and we are happy to tell more about the breed’s origin and history for the curious. Then we go on a tour through the village, close by the Kalix river which offer magical views of the forrest and peacefullness. When we return to the farm, we end with “Swedish fika” (coffee, tea, juice and snacks) in our outdoor barbeque hut.

The total time for the experience is about 2 – 3 hours.

Meeting point: At Cederings Horses in the village Kalix Älv on agreed time.

Price 

• Adults: 1590 SEK
• Children 4-12 years: 795 SEK
• Children 0-3 years: Free
• Booking for 2 people or more, maximum number in the sleigh at the same time is 8.
  (Of which 6 are adults)
• Prices apply to bookings for up to 6 people, larger groups is offered separately.
